Job Description

• Hands on with Migration from On-prem (SQL Server) to Azure SQL

 
• Develops database designs based on business requirements.
 
• Reviews and revises database designs and ensures that all technical and business requirements are met.
 
• Builds database structures based on detailed design.
 
• Performs database testing to ensure performance is met and compare with expected results.
 
• Provides support during the system implementation and production.
 
• Suggests new features, coding techniques and reference material. Identifies gaps in scripts and procedures. suggests options for implementation of features.
 
• Hands On experience with Azure Cloud technologies/Platform
 
• Experience with DBMS performance management and monitoring tools.
 
• Experience in utilizing DBMS system management tools and implementation of new features and functionality.
 
• Experience and solid understanding of various Cloud engineering practices.
 
• Experience translating Cloud requirements and experience with Cloud design solutions.
 
• Azure SQL Server database admin with Azure compute services (virtual machines, images, serverless technologies)
 
• Understanding cloud enterprise design patterns and a strong experience in industry best practices, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and solid knowledge base.
 
Candidate Skills
 
• Azure SQL Database administration: 5 years (Preferred)
 
• Database administration: 5 years (Required)
 
• Microsoft SQL Server: 5 years (Required)
